Tagrim ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Tagrim desktop application and the tagrim.com website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Contact information: name and email address when you join our waitlist, submit a contact form, or purchase a license.
- Payment information: billing details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Paddle.com. We do not store credit card numbers.
Information collected automatically
- License validation: when the Tagrim desktop app checks your license, we receive your license key, machine identifier, and IP address.
- Usage analytics: we collect anonymous usage data such as feature usage, session duration, and app version to improve the product. This data is processed by PostHog.
- Crash reports: if the app encounters an error, a crash report containing technical information (OS version, app version, stack trace) may be sent automatically.
- Website analytics: we use PostHog to collect anonymous browsing data (pages visited, referral source, device type). No personal identifiers are tracked.
Information we do NOT collect
We do not access, upload, or transmit your media files (photos, videos). All media processing happens locally on your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Tagrim application and license system.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions via Paddle.
- To send transactional emails (license keys, receipts, support replies).
- To improve the product based on aggregated usage data and crash reports.
- To respond to your inquiries and support requests.
- To notify waitlist subscribers when Tagrim launches.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Paddle.com — payment processing (Merchant of Record). Paddle's privacy policy
- Keygen.sh — license key management and validation.
- PostHog — product and website analytics.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Vercel — website hosting.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account or license is active, or as needed to provide services. Waitlist emails are retained until launch or until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Opt out of marketing communications.
- Opt out of analytics tracking in the desktop app via Settings.
